Looked along time for good acrylic/cotton socks. Just the right amount of cushion. Hug your feet like sweater, but wick away moisture. Just in time too, I was getting tired of darning my old socks.Great comfort and warmth!These socks are a real game changer! I have some low-top boots which I couldn't use because they hurt my feet so much. I've used Goldtoe forever, but they don't protect my feet and they stretch out during the day so they pile up inside my boots. I decided to give Thorlos a try -- and they are "designed" for various endeavors, like walking, hiking, work, tennis. They fit great, stay up on my calf without cutting off circulation! The padding in the side, over the arch make my old unusable boots usable again! Yeah!I love this Brand this is the best Brand of socks I have ever had yes they are a little expensive BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! PAY FOR THE BEST YOU GET THE BESTI love these socks, and to be honest, it is all I've worn for years now. They aren't cheap, at about $12-$15/pair, but they are worth every penny. Why? They hold up for a very long time, but they are also soft and have padding to assist with comfort on the bottom on your foot. We were provided a uniform allowance at work, and these were the socks offered on their site. I tried them, and never went back to any other socks. Once, when on travel, I forgot to pack socks - duh. So I stopped by a department store and bought a pack of regular socks. Total waste of money. I ended up washing and drying the one pair I had on, each night, and then drying them with the hair dryer, just so I didn't have to wear those non-Thorlo socks. I'll never wear any other sock, ever. These are worth any amount of money as they provide comfort never found in other socks.The only bad thing is that the washing machine tends to eat the strings on these, and starts a pull. This is with an HE type washing machine. Not sure why, but two different HE washers, and the same problem. Tried washing them regular, and inside out, both ways that happens to a couple of socks on each wash cycle. Interestingly enough, I pull the random threads out, and continue to wear the socks, despite the many times this has happened.These socks are the best! I got them for my fiancé, and he swears by them. Refuses to wear other socks. Would highly recommend!The socks are very comfortable...padded well on bottom. Have not had them long enough to know how durable they will be but so far, so good! I do turn them inside out before washing and noticed some threads that were there from new. They do not seem to change so we will see. Bought five pair for a week of work socks. I wear steel toed boots all day so the comfort is a big plus.Great so far!These socks are Thorlos, so you know they hug the contours of your feet and feel pretty amazing. They’re soft and comfortable. I was a little surprised at how soft they were when I received them; they feel like they may not be as hardy as older Thorlos. But then I have some other Thorlos that felt that way, and they’ve held up for me for a long time, so I think Thorlo may just be figuring out how to make their socks still more comfortable without compromising their durability too much.Be sure you get the right size and you will get the full Thorlo experience.
