This is one of the most durable, reliable, and comfortable shoes ever made on the face of the earth in my opinion. They are perfect for anyone that has wide or big feet and who like or need padding in the heel, tongue, and ankle. They are all made spot on with size, but tend to get more roomy as time goes on. Another bonus is that they are made in the USA and are high quality materials. I have noticed that they last about a 6 months before they start to show light signs of wear, then last another 6 months before they start to become more worn. I use older ones for work and they are about 2 years old, if you buy a pair of DC shoes you will be hooked and never go back. They are also cheap when bought from Amazon, in a store like PacSun they go for about $55-$60 or even higher, but on Amazon they can be picked up on sale for around $30-$40. Overall these shoes are at the top of my list and will remain there for as long as I can see, but don't just take my word, try them out for yourself.Shoes LOOK fantastic, they don't fit that well though. They run a bit small, normally wear an 11, got an 11.5, the toecap is very low profile and ends relatively deep in the shoe compared to what I'm used to from other skate shoes (even my court graffiks which are 10.5...and still manage to have more room for my feet). The toecap ends where the stitching on the side is, closer to the heel of the shoe, so it's a relatively deep one compared to other shoes. This puts the pressure all right where the ball of my foot is, it doesn't bend with my toes like other shoes. Not worth trying to break them in and stretch them out only to find out they still fit just as tight and be out the money. The leather feels sturdy and they're pretty tough starting out.Aside from the issue with MY feet, they feel comfortable in every other area. It's just a shame because I really wanted to like these. I definitely recommend ordering a half size up from what you normally wear, the length felt perfect with a bit of room, a full size larger than usual and my feet would've been swimming in them.Picture attached to show the length of the toecap, it's just abnormally long and the pictures on here didn't show it very well (if you can see it at all).Fantastic shoes! They wear VERY well, and last a LONG time.I wear leg braces (AFO's), and finding shoes that work well with the braces and that look good as well can be a challenge. As the braces tend to amplify the pressure placed onto the outer sole of a shoe, I would find myself purchasing new shoes very often, as the soles would become worn (I'm not a heavy guy by any stretch at under 190-lbs) and crushed on the outside edge. I had purchased my first pair of DC Net model shoes about three years ago, and found that they fit the braces AND wore EXTREMELY well! I was in the market for a new pair, saw this colorway, and the price was right-on! Knowing the shoe made it easy to just order my size, and as expected, no drama on fit.GREAT shoe, FANTASTIC shipping time, and a very fair price! Definitely recommend these to anyone looking to get their money's worth.I have had these shoes for a while now and must say they have held up well, but I don't skate. I usually wear Vans or the like and decided to try some DCs. The main reason for getting these was because of the color. I got the solid red ones. I liked the look. The shoe is still solid in appearance, not a lot of folds/wrinkles. The laces do come untied all the time, that sucks. The tips have become a dingy red, but brushing with a magic eraser or cleaning them with soapy water and a tooth brush brings them back to a more vivid red. They are still comfortable and still have decent padding left. I wear these shoes everyday as my normal shoe for about 5 hours (after work).I would buy them again.I've been looking for this shoes for a coupe of months now and they where exactly like I used to use in highschool, there are too tier shoes and really comfy!Nice shoe though with all the padding DC Shoes likes to put inside their shoes it does make it seem to fit a little small. To clarify, I have worn a size 12 shoe for 20+ years but just in the last year have started wearing more 13 size shoes (no weight gain). But where an Adidas 13 is roomy compared to a snug size 12, this DC Shoe is kind of in between.....if that makes any sense. I also notice that the shoes bites into my heal a bit only when driving, when your foot is in that angled position required to manipulate the clutch. Not horrible by any means just an annoyance.I usually buy these types of shoes for the comfort and durability, not really into skating. They weren't looking that great in the comfort department right out of the box, it took me a long time to break these shoes in, till then they were stiff as a board and not very comfortable to wear. Right now they are a lot more comfortable, and they seem to be holding up pretty well as far as durability is concerned. Also they do look awesome in Nautical Blue, so I really do recommend these shoes to everyone looking at a good durable shoe. The size was also spot on, so no concerns there. Buy them!I've been buying DC shoes, for my 3 sons, for well over 9 years now. They are quality, leather shoes, that last. Each, of my sons, wear a shoe size of 11.5. I want to let buyers know: the "Skate" shoe has been consistent, in sizing, for all years that I've purchased them. The DC "Sneaker" runs, 1/2 size SMALLER, than the "skate" shoe. I asked my son go to Famous Footwear with me. I had him try on many, different, pairs of DC shoes. The "Sneaker" consistently runs 1/2 size smaller than the "Skate"-Read the online description to make sure you're getting what you think you are (leather shoes). These are great shoes, at a great price that you won't match in stores.I don't understand why these shoes aren't sold on every corner of every street, I mean to say I like DC shoes is to say I like breathing. Firstly they're highly durable, originally designed to take punishment from skaters doing tricks and pounding the pavement. They're also as comfortable as a day in the spa, the super thick padding beats any cushioning level of much more expensive trainers I've purchased it made me question why I even bought anything else in the first place and threw them all out, except for my running shoes they're built for purpose but that's not to say the DC's are bad for moving fast in plus they're ever so slightly wider than normal providing superior traction. They're also stylish as hell, I can make them go with anything I wear and people comment on them, I got lunch bought for me then a date plus a raise at work all from looking so good.It would be child abuse not to buy your or someone elses kid a pair for their birthday, and don't fall behind yourself and neglected to pick up a few pairs. As the saying goes your either in your bed or your shoes so don't skimp and that's the best bit they're not even that expensive. It's like, why ride a stinky old bus that everyone else is on when for half the price you can fly in your very own Iron Man suit.As an added bonus they even throw in the occasional DC sticker that you can proudly place on your front door, car or luggage so that everyone knows your the shiz niz!I only wear DCs and alway buy the same size but those just don’t fit. Thought they may give but they didn’t.Love the look of these ... but then I already have 3 pairs of these in different colours! Usual high quality, as to be expected of DC and nice and comfortableMy husband owned a pair of these previously that lasted him a good number of years and he only needed another pair as he had worn out the soles from all his walking. Great quality shoes and well worth the price.Great trainers, always buy DC's would defiantly recommend these to anyone, very comfortable
