The material is coarse and thin, like a prison blanket. Don't ask me how I know. I can actually feel them rubbing blisters into my feet as I walk. The toe "cushion" is set too low in the front and you can feel the seam under your toes. There's very little elasticity to them. They don't hug your legs so they perpetually feel as if they're drooping. You get used to feeling as if you need to pull them back up as you walk, but then check yourself because you remember that they don't stretch at all, so the problem is never resolved.The soft comfortable snug feeling of a new pair of socks is...not sold with this product. They felt cheap from the first fitting. Never thought I'd have to buy new socks to replace the new socks I refuse to wear. But here we are.I added one star to the review because 1) This seems like a first world problem. Possibly many developing nations would LOVE to have a pair of socks as fine as these, 2) They are in fact socks. I mean...there's no bait and switch here. I didn't order socks and get electric eels or something. They're technically socks.Only a 5 pack on 8just don't wash them i bought my husband a pack of 12 because he drives truck the price was good but after he returned home after being out on the truck for a week he put them in the washer washed them in warm water and they shrunk so much that he wont ware them he wares a size 13 shoe and at first they were fine but now its like putting on a size 9-10 but other then that they delivered on time,and were at a very reasonable price.next time i would just order a bigger size.Very coarse material, but they're pretty thick and warm which is perfect for fall and winter months. I wear them to the gym mostly as they're definitely not nice enough to wear to my office job.They get the job done. The upper part of the sock is really thin compared to the other name brands. After wearing them for a full day of work in my work boots they were giving off a lot more order than usual. But for the price they are alright.ExcellentI bought these for my husband, a rabid GoldToe fan. It seems the GoldToe brand has gone downhill as in their socks stretch out and will not stay up. So, we decided to try a different brand. The fit is good (he wears a size 14 shoe-thanks for the extended size) and after washing, he says they fit better than ever.They are very soft and comfortable. The only downside is they don't last a long time. I have gotten holes in the heels of several of my first order. I got these in this new order because of the fit and feel. They do not constrict the leg or calf. I will get more when these wear out.
