Gold toe has never disappointed…this is more FYI. I first ordered the extended size (12-16) pair on accident. I processed a return and ordered the pair I meant to…size 6-12 1/2 and the over the calf length. They arrived today and it appears to me that the distance from the toe to the heel between the two sizes is identical. And even though I ordered them from the same Amazon item page (I just selected the size I meant to order), the colors were slightly different. Not enough to be an issue. Just FYI.My husband’s 6’ and an XL. These socks fit perfectly, are comfortable, great colors, and wash well. Recommend.The socks fits nicely and are very comfortable.Goldtoe has always been my go-to dress sock and my latest purchase has not let me down. They are soft and comfortable. No issue with the tops as they are not too tight, and the colors are exactly as I expected. A fashionable sock with enough flare to keep me coming back. Overall, a great purchase.As usual, these Gold Toe socks are comfortable and stylish. My only disappointment was that the listing does not make clear that they are NOT over-the-calf, compared to other Gold Toe socks that are. I am 5' 10", so not especially tall. He is over the moon with themThese socks are so comfortableI have been buying "Gold Toe" socks for years and I felt you got the quality you paid for, which is why I keep buying them. This time I was a bit surprised. 2 of the 3 pairs were fine but one pair (the solid brown) shrunk and were noticeably smaller after the first washing. They still fit but because they shrunk they tend to pull down. I have never had this happen before, so it is hard to say if this is some type of fluke or a systemic problem. The other two have been washed multiple times and are fine. This is why they got only 4 stars.I bought it for my husband and he thoroughly enjoyed the socks. Being US 13, it's always an odd size to purchase socks. It took me a really long time to decide on this, and I had bought two different sizes. We will go with the bigger sizes next time; that will leave more room for stretching. I wish that Goldtoe can sell this on Amazon.sg so that I can take advantage of the Amazon Prime Shipping. The shipping fees were rather hefty. But again, it was a super gift for him.So hard to find socks that fit my boyfriend in stores. Most sizes go to 12 and 13; a bit on the small side for size 14 feet! I have purchased this brand for him on numerous occasions. The reinforced gold toe is great however he's already worn through a pair of socks in the Achilles area (possibly due to rubbing in shoe?) so that pair did not last that long. The others seem to be holding up well. If not for that failure I would have given 5 stars.
