Perfect fit for 7.5 -8 size foot. Very comfortable and keeps my feet dry in 97 degree heat while working outside. Have already purchased another pair and will be adding more. Hard to beat darn sock, but these are equally as good so far.These are awesome socks. Marino wool, they last a super long time. I bought a few pairs a few years ago, and now bought some more. Not because they were worn out, but because I don't want to wear anything else. You can wear them several times before washing... I know that sounds nasty, I wouldn't have thought it a few years ago myself. But they don't pick up odor, like other socks do... they are warm in the winter, and not overly hot in the summer. I work outside a lot, and I used to wear nice Gold Toe socks... these outlast them one pair to ten pairs of the gold toe. Try a pair... The money is more than worth it.ITSHARD TO FIND GOOD SOCKS THAT LAST. THESE SOCKS WILL BE AROUND A LONG TIME. THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE AND THEY WASH AND DRY WELL. Keeps your feet warmFour years ago I purchased this sock, and a pair of Darn Tough hiking socks. Both were in my daily rotation, and went on all hiking trips (a few times a year) and any time I travelled. While both socks are still alive today, the Thorlo is still in decent shape, and looks like it can go another few years with only mild wear on the heal (my danger spot), where the Darn Tough sock is worn in several places, and ready for replacement.These socks are comfortable, plush, and do exactly what I needed them to do: be a strong barrier between me and the earth, that keeps my feet as dry as possible. These are the best wool socks I have owned thus far, though a newer pair of smartwool socks is holding up wonderfully, and may be a contender as the years play out.These are the socks I am purchasing again today, 4 years later, along with a pair or two of new challengers. Maybe in another 4 years I will have something different to say, but as of now, this is the best all around wool sock I have found.I have hard to fit feet and my main exercise these days is walking. I am very demanding and critical of socks since I am older and exercise with a lot of outdoor walking and jogging. I spent awhile on several web sites including Amazon looking for a new sock that I could use for both everyday and also in my workouts. Since this sock was by a maker I have purchased from in the past and the reviews were all very positive, I tried a few pairs. These are excellent socks. The fit and padding are just right for my feet. They also have a super comfortable toe area. I liked them enough to order another dozen pair for everyday use. They aren't too thick so I can wear them with all my shoes. A little pricey-yes but you know what they say, you get what you pay for. Just a tip for new buyers-you can't judge them until you wash them on delicate cycle and use a liquid fabric softener in the final rinse. The softener totally changes the fit and feel of these socks and they will stretch very slightly with use to fit your feet perfectly.they just work. even on summer hikes.I've had this one pair of socks for over three years and I can without a doubt say they are the most comfortable and warm socks I've ever had. They feel as comfortable as the day I first wore them, which can be hard to believe, but it's true. I love them, and I'm looking into getting another pair or two in the future. They're expensive for a pair of socks, but dang they are so worth it.Great as always
